On the way back to the Nile, you will view the Colossi of Memnon – two 53 foot high seated statues of Amenophis III and then on to El Deir El Bahari (The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut) which is a terrace temple, and its layout is unique in Egypt where the Temple rises with three terraces which are connected by central ramps.
You will also visit the East Bank – “The Karnak & Luxor Temples (less than 2 miles apart)”. Here you will see the Imperial Temple and the wide avenue of Sphinxes. In the evening you will transfer to Luxor train station to board the sleeping train to Cairo (dinner and breakfast served on board).
