Bethlehem & Jericho Day Tour Program

You will be picked up at your hotel and proceed to drive through the Judean desert. Enjoy the roadside view of the Good Samaritan Inn, where the parable of the Good Samaritan took place. You will have a brief sojourn at sea level to take in the panoramic view before continuing to Jericho, the oldest city in the world.
Here, you will see the famous sycamore tree of Zacchaeus from the Gospel of Luke. You will have an overview of Mount of Temptation where Jesus was tempted by Satan. You will also visit Tel Jericho, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where 25 ancient cities have been uncovered by archaeologists (cable car not included).
After completing your tour of Jericho you will proceed to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus and King David. Walk through Manger Square to the Church of the Nativity. This church was commissioned by Constantine the Great in 327, it is located over the cave where it is believed that Jesus was born. You will see the Church of the Milk Grotto and Shepherds’ field, the site where the shepherds saw the Star of the Nativity. Afterwards, you will stop at a locally-owned souvenir shop and then return to your point of departure.
