Helicopter Tour To Galilee, Dead Sea and Jerusalem Program
Pick up from Your Hotel and Transfer to Sde dov or Herzelia Airport:
Depart from Tel Aviv or Herzlia and fly along Israel’s beautiful Mediterranean coastline all the way up to the Crusader port of Caesarea.
Fly along the “Kings Route” to Nazareth and witness the breathtaking scenario of the Arbel cliff and the Sea of Galilee.
Stop for a break and refreshments at Capernaum than continue your flight over the Sea of Galilee for a panoramic view of the Golan Heights, where you will hear an explanation describing the historical Syrian-Israeli conflict.
Fly over the Jordan River valley, and on to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea and the historic Qumran Caves, followed by views of the Ein Gedi nature reserve and dramatic site of Massada.
Stop for a 90 minute break that allows you to visit the mountain-top fortress (optional lunch).
Then off again to fly over the Judean Desert and on to Jerusalem for a bird’s eye view of both Old and New cities along the restricted flight route.
The return flight offers spectacular views of Tel Aviv, Israel’s largest and busiest “city that never sleeps” and home of cutting-edge architecture, culture and night life, landing back at the point of departure.
Duration of the flight: 3 Hours and 10 minutes, including 2 hour break at the Dead Sea shore at Massada, not including other breaks.
